Your generous gift will help us provide needed resources to Indigenous communities to revitalize their languages, cultures and arts.

For the First Nations of British Columbia, knowledge of their ancestral languages is intrinsically tied to cultural pride, identity and health.
For these reasons and many more, promotion and preservation of the rich and diverse languages of the First Nations of British Columbia, and the heritage and culture they represent, are important to all Canadians.

The issue of language revitalization in B.C. has reached at a crisis point.
With the numbers of speakers diminishing every year, many of the First Nations languages in British Columbia are at risk of extinction.

We are engaged in a race against time to ensure our languages form a vibrant, living part of British Columbia's future.
The primary mission of the First Peoples' Cultural Foundation is to increase public awareness of this challenge and to preserve the languages, heritage, culture and arts of B.C.'s First Peoples-before it's too late.
